Two gods from a (potential) Jericho story.
It would basically be a quest story set in a pseudo-medieval time. and it would involve lots of religion. thus me making up gods. because there are gods for the different regions of the world. yeah.

(no caps for you!)

On the left is the night god (also known as the moon god) and on the right is the day god (sun god). They're brothers in the pantheon of gods for Jericho's region. (lol, I'll draw a chart of the hierarchy)

They don't really have names yet, although the moon god has a personality (the sun god sorta has one, but not yet). For now, I'm calling the moon god "Crow," because that's the name he takes on when he travels around on earth... hence the poorly-drawn bird.

The sun god was just drawn spontaneously because I had a "wonderful" idea to make this mirror-esque picture.

Also, Crow's "skirt" is not lined with feathers. The cloth sorta emanates colours resembling a crow's, and the feathers sorta melt into the design at the edges.

And the sun has flames coming from his "skirt."

Originally, I had intended the picture to just be Crow, and have him with his full robes, but I liked the sketch of the torso and so kept him shirtless. And then his brother just decided to come in.

Crow is the kind of guy who is an abusive friend. He constantly makes fun of people, and is even harsher with his friends. However, he's relatively nice. Very moody. Loves to party. Very promiscuous and imaginative (in more ways than one). Loves birds. Loves to intrude on people's dreams. Spontaneous. More down to earth than his brother.

Sun is gracious, but not all that friendly. He is never close to anyone. Ironically, he has a cold personality. Very set in his ways, and is not at all spontaneous. Has a solid sort of character and is very stubborn. He likes to help people, although never in ways that they understand or can even see. Very proud and slightly pompous.

Basically, they are polar opposites and don't get along very well. (that's why they're never seen in the sky at the same time!)

The things on their heads are based off of sun disks (just what it sounds like-- a disk around a god's head representing the sun. equates to a halo in Christianity). Although obviously, Crow's isn't the sun. It would be a moon. And it changes. Because the moon has phases. Yeah.
(see how I tried to base their personalities around their symbols?)

lol, now I'm gonna draw the god chart.
