I'M FINALLY DONE WITH THIS.

It isn't so much that this peice took me a long time, as it was I got bored with it and laid it off for months/weeks on end. But I finally finished it.

This is one of my first renditions of the skully, so the first three do not follow the rules of my more recent observations. These are the original skullies, who are the ones that the others are based of. While normal skullies require an earthbound source for a body, these first three skullies relied only on themselves, and were self-created from extremely strong spirits. These are the gods of the skully world.

This is my first ever skully, the wish-granter. The spirit possessing the body had had bountiful energy before, from practice of granting prayers and wishes. However, the spirit grew bored of floating bodiless and serving bodied creatures, soon beginning to possess bodies that weren't of its own. With these bodies, it devised a plan for a body of its own, using the short possessions to congregate what it assumed all living things were made of-- bone, flesh, and skin. Once it felt that it had gathered enough, it tried to possess this, and not having enouh knowledge of animal bodies, added the extra limbs and lack of lower body. Being the first skully ever created, it also did not see the consequence of organs, and quickly rid itself of these things because of their complicated nature. This is of course, the most experienced of skullies, and is able to somewhat leave it's body, although only for a little while and for a short distance. It still grants wishes to those who seek it to this day.

THIS SKULLY
This is the second skully to come into existance. The spirit was originally a human's spirit that could see into the future. It, however, has completely forgotten its roots, and only remembers that it may look into the future at any time it chooses. Before gaining a body, it was often prayed to and seeked like the granter before it, and was always happy with the interaction and motivation to see the future. After some time, however, the visits by humans and beast alike became fewer and less in-between, and the spirit grew lonely. It traveled aimlessly until a vision was suddenly thrust upon it, of a spirit gaining a body of its own. It seeked out this fellow spirit, and found the thing discarding organs. The two had short spirit-conversation (they do not in fact have an actual language, but communicate with emotion and ideas), and the oracle set out for a body of its own. Seeing the other skully's mistake with the organs, it didn't bother with unneeded materials, only picking out the best bare minimum, with only a few additions. In the physical body, the spirit suddenly found that visions were more difficult to concieve, and so devised a technique using threads, water, and stone connected to the core of the earth, with which the visions came more easily, but never as easily as when it was pure spirit. The oracle still tries to remove itself from its body permanently, but to no avail.
